Public events claim to be inclusive, but are they really? While some support neurodiverse people and other disabilities, many still fail to provide essential tools for Deaf and disabled communities.
🚫 No BSL interpreters or captions at events.
🚫 No Recite Me, sign language in-vision, or website widgets for BSL/English translation.
🚫 No Deaf role models invited as speakers.
Why are we still fighting for basic access in 2025?

Deaf teachers have rich expertise in BSL, linguistics, and culture—yet they are overlooked in education. Microsoft launched VRS in the USA in 2016, but the UK is STILL waiting. Why?
It’s Time for Change!
✔ Public events must provide BSL interpreters & captions by default.
✔ Websites should have built-in accessibility tools (Recite Me, in-vision BSL, widgets).
✔ Deaf professionals must be included as leaders and role models.
✔ Companies and the government must prioritise accessibility—not as an afterthought, but as a standard.
⏳ Enough is enough. Real inclusion benefits EVERYONE. Let’s stop making excuses and start making society better for all!
💙 Time for action. Time for change.
